Are you a student enrolled at a degree-granting institution? If so, then you may be eligible for our Student Scholarship program.
Scholarship recipients receive complimentary registration gaining them access to all non-extra-fee events including over 150 scientific and technical presentations, vendor and exhibitor displays, as well as networking events.
Half-day classes are offered on Wednesday morning immediately before the conference, and Friday afternoon after the conference. Classes are offered on a variety of topics related to SAS. Information about classes and instructors will be posted as it becomes available.
Scholarship recipients are invited to a special breakfast with representatives from SAS Institute, as well as WUSS organizers, book authors, and other leading SAS-user professionals from varied disciplines and industries.
Student scholarship recipients will receive a discount on the cost of lodging at the conference hotel.
Students may receive the award a maximum of two years. Second-time applicants must submit an abstract and be selected to present a paper or poster at the conference.
Any student who meets the eligibility requirements is encouraged to apply.
Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program during the 2018–2019 academic year at an accredited degree-granting college or university in the WUSS region (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming).
Students must provide proof of enrollment:
- copy of official enrollment confirmation for the 2018-19 school year
- copy of current student identification card
Students must be willing to volunteer as a session or class coordinator at a pre- or post-conference class, or during in-conference presentations. This is a four-hour commitment.
The Call for Papers has been extended. Second-time applicants must submit an abstract for a paper or poster no later than May 18, 2018. Please see information for presenters, and submit your abstract online.
